This is not your average wedding with an extraordinary couple. Black dress, artichoke in the bouquet, seafood fried rice, ice cream bar, dessert bar, and no walking down the aisle AND married at a brewery …. I mean COME ON. Sarah and Oren relaxed and got ready in the Archer Hotel, In napa Ca then had an amazing ceremony and reception at Mare Island Brewing,
When I asked Sarah what her favorite part was, this is what she said “I think my favorite part about the wedding was seeing all of our friends and family come together. I have a very large and unique blended family and it was fun to see them all in one place (that doesn’t happen ever).”
I also asked Sarah if she had any tips for any couples planning their wedding, and this is what she said “My advice for a bride planning her wedding is to do exactly what YOU want. It is so easy to let friends, family, and strangers sway you into doing something that is more traditional than what you want. Find someone who understands you, knows you, and you trust who will be honest with you, and have your back when it comes to others trying to push their agendas on you. It’s important to plan your ideal wedding, not your parent’s, in-law’s, or friend’s. Lastly, take time on the day of to sneak away to breathe, it’s an overwhelming and demanding day, so do as much self-care as possible.”
