Olive & Hay – New wedding location at The Meritage Resort – Napa, CA

Wedding coordinator, Lilly and I started our careers in the wedding industry around the same time. We’ve worked together over dozens of weddings, and honestly, with Lilly, it doesn’t feel like we are coworkers, more like good friends. And she’s made it easy, with some of the best organized, thoughtfully planned, and low-stress weddings I’ve ever been a part of. So, when she asked me to become a preferred vendor and capture the promotional images for the new wedding spot at the Meritage Resort, Olive and Hay, I was ecstatic and looking forward to continuing our relationship.

If you ever wanted to have a dream intimate Napa wedding, Olive & Hay is the location for you. Napa’s newest destination for farm-fresh food, fusing homemade and homegrown, modern and classic, innovative and traditional Italian cuisine. The feel is casual yet refined while incorporating rustic accents but providing a modern approach to wine country cuisine. Shooting at the Olive and Hay was super fun, with so many amazing angles, small intimate locations to capture photos, and great details. It is a photographer’s dream and will make it hard for brides to pick their favorite wedding photo with so many great options. It was hard for me to pick the images for this blog! Working with Lilly is always amazing, but this shoot was even more special because I got to work with Page Pronesti, the bride in the photos below, as our model. Page was a wedding coordinator, too, who worked with Lilly. I’v had the pleasure to work with many wedding teams but these two always make it extra special because they are always so fun, professional, and amazing at what they do.
